How to interact with my API functions?

Cloud Backend API create a route for every function you create based on this system:

and / or

Route is given in the top left corner of your function edition (and also in the provided documentation)

Parameters must be passed as :
  • POST parameters when the method is set to POST
  • Query string parameters when the method is set to GET
In some cases you don't want your API function to be public. For this you can check the "Require APIKey" checkbox in the Security card of your function edition. The parameter APIKey will now be required for every call of this function.

Based on the purpose of your function you can decide to get the response as a JSON Object:

  • status Did your function execute without problem
  • execTime Time taken by the execution of your function (in milliseconds)
  • billedTime Time counted on your plan
  • payload The response of your function
  • logs Filled if an error occurs
Or you can also get the response as RAW with this format you will only get what your function returns. It's ideal if you want to return HTML content by example.
